Hovercrafts are capable of traveling over surfaces while supported by a cushion of slow moving, high-pressure air which is ejected against the surface below and contained within a "skirt." Because they are supported by a cushion of air, hovercraft are unique among all other forms of ground transportation in their ability to travel equally well over land, ice, and water.
Our hovercraft is a very stable and safe craft that holds up to 5 passengers and it manages almost any weather situation. With the air cushion fully inflated under the 92 "skirts", you can hardly feel the bumps and cracks in the surface you ride across - whether it is ice, snow, water or sand. Cruising speed is about 20-35 knots depending on type of surface.
Safety first! Onboard, there are radar, sea chart plotter, VHF-radio, life line, life vests and first aid kit. We are also equipped with four intercom headsets for internal communication.
Our drivers are fully certified by the Swedish Maritime Administration and, of course, we have a full (US$ 50 millions) insurance for the passengers.
